Amazon Acquires Liquavista from Samsung

Goal is to develop new displays for mobile devices

According to an email sent out by Amazon to numerous technology publications, Amazon.com Inc. reported that it acquired Liquavista NV from Samsung Electronics Co. for an undisclosed price. According to these reports, the goal of the acquisition to help the world’s largest Internet retailer develop new displays for mobile devices.
